Super Mario 64 is one of platform 3D where the player controls Mario thanks to several courses. Each course is a closed world in which the player is Free d' to wander in all the directions & to discover l' environment without limits of time. The worlds are filled d' enemies who attack Mario as well as friendly creatures which provide an assistance, can give information, or ask for a favour (like the pink??? Enthusiast of peace??? Bob-omb Friends). The player who gathers stars in each course; some stars appear only after the realization of certain tasks, often suggested by the name of the course. As more d' stars are collected, more areas of the castle become accessible. The player opens doors in the castle with keys obtained by beating Bowser in special courses.
